Dr. Angela Young

Owner & Chiropractor

Passionate about helping you get well and stay well, Dr. Angela Young gives you the resources you’ll need to make great lifetime health decisions for yourself and your family. She received a Bachelor of Science in Health and Wellness and Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Parker University. In addition, she’s a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 200), bringing all of her education together into perfect harmony and balance. She published her first book Spoiled Milk: 37 Expired Health Beliefs with a Fresh New Perspective in 2013.

Dr. Yvonne Honovich

Chiropractor

Dr. Yvonne Honovich received her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon. Her clinical interest lies in providing chiropractic care to relieve neck pain, headaches and back pain. Dr. Honovich uses a variety of chiropractic techniques including diversified and activator techniques, trigger point therapy and cold laser. Nutrition, physical therapy and rehabilitation exercises are also a focal point of care provided by Dr. Honovich.

Yvonne has practiced chiropractic and lived in the Boise area for 20 years and loves being a part of the Boise community. She enjoys reading and sports and spending time with her family and dogs.

Dr. Yvonne Aicher

Chiropractor

Dr. Yvonne Aicher is a dedicated Chiropractor at Thrive Chiropractic, grew up in the Midwest. She pursued her Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Life University in Atlanta, GA. During her time as a student, she traveled across the country, eventually visiting a friend in Idaho. Captivated by the area’s beauty and charm, she decided to make Idaho her home after graduation and began her chiropractic practice there in 2011.

Dr. Yvonne’s journey into the chiropractic field was inspired by her own health challenges during childhood. She experienced frequent illness and found that traditional medical treatments offered little relief. It was chiropractic care that ultimately restored her health, igniting her passion to help others achieve similar wellness. Dr. Yvonne’s favorite aspect of her profession is seeing her patients regain their health and live their best lives through chiropractic care.

From an early age, Dr. Yvonne knew she was meant to be a chiropractor. This conviction is reinforced daily as she witnesses the positive changes in her patients’ lives. She cannot imagine herself in any other profession and finds immense fulfillment in her work.

Outside of her professional life, Dr. Yvonne is happily married to Paul and is the proud mother of two children, Dax and Teyla. The Aicher family enjoys camping, hiking, traveling, and engaging in various outdoor adventures. Dr. Yvonne also has a passion for reading and continuously learning about health and biohacking, always seeking ways to enhance her well-being and that of her patients.

Dr. Frances De Melo

Chiropractor

Whether her patients have problems with back pain, neck pain, auto injuries, or sports injuries, they are dealing with other conditions. Dr. De Melo finds chiropractic solutions and treatment options tailored to their needs. She works hard to find the right chiropractic treatment to suit her patients’ needs.Dr. Frances De Melo believes chiropractic care can be used in almost all areas of a person’s life. She takes a whole-person approach in all aspects of her care. She believes each part of the body affects everything else in the body. Therefore, when treating her patients, Dr. De Melo focuses on treating the underlying causes of a condition, rather than any surface symptoms, so you can begin the healing process.

Dr. Michelle Litzinger

Chiropractor

Dr. Michelle Litzinger, is an experienced licensed chiropractor that is excited to be practicing at Thrive Chiropractic in Boise Idaho. She studied exercise physiology at California State University, Dominguez Hills where she received a basketball scholarship. Dr. Litzinger studied physical therapy for a short time and turned to chiropractic training when it proved to be effective for relieving her severe neck pain and back spasms from an auto accident.

Dr. Litzinger attended Cleveland Chiropractic College in Los Angeles, where she graduated in 2007 magna cum laude with a Doctor of Chiropractic. In 2010, she opened a chiropractic office in Lakewood, California which she later transitioned into an integrated practice that allowed her to work alongside a medical doctor, nurse practitioner and physical therapist. Her multi-Disciplinary practice allowed her to implement innovative cellular therapies to patients to avoid surgery. This continues to be a passion of Dr. Litzinger’s and she is excited to continue educating patients on non-surgical methods to help restore normal joint function. In 2021 Dr Litzinger decided to take a leap of faith. She sold her practice in 2021 and decided to move herself and her 8-year-old son to Idaho to enjoy the beautiful city and amazing people.

Dr. Litzinger spent her free time in California as a volunteer with the YMCA strong kids campaign and its annual auction, she was a member of the Soroptimist International of Lakewood/Long Beach since 2011, she chaired the Lakewood fundraiser for three years; a partnership with the Lakewood Sheriff’s Station. An achievement in Doctor Litzinger’s career was being voted for Woman of the year in the area of health in 2017 by Senator Mendoza. For fun Dr. Litzinger has completed numerous marathons and qualified for the Boston marathon. She completed a full ironman in 2014 and several half ironman’s.

Jessica Keen

Nurse Practitioner

Jessica Keen, NP has been practicing in medicine since 2008. Jess received her Bachelors in Nursing from the University of Nevada, Reno and earned her Masters in Nursing from Boise State University. She has worked in several specialties, including hospital medicine, cardiology, and orthopedics. Through her experiences, she found her true love to be regenerative aesthetics and regenerative medicine. She loves to connect with her patients, partnering with them to create their customized treatment plan for their optimal health. She strongly believes in educating her patients so they feel empowered to make the best decisions for their health. When Jess is not working with her patients, she loves to spend time outdoors with her husband and two pups.

Dr. Stevie Hill

Physical Therapist

A native to Wyoming, Dr. Hill moved to Idaho to pursue her undergraduate degree and college basketball career at The College of Idaho. She later obtained her doctorate from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, MA. Throughout her academic and professional career, she has thrived off knowledge expansion and continues to do so through cutting-edge therapeutic treatments and continuing education certifications.

As a passionate Doctor of Physical Therapy since 2016, Stevie is dedicated to helping individuals achieve their optimal physical function and wellness. With expertise in orthopedics and pediatrics, she is equipped to treat a wide range of diagnoses. Whether it’s recovering from a sports injury, managing chronic pain, enhancing mobility and function after surgery, or treating infants, she is committed to providing comprehensive and patient-centered care that promotes healing and improves quality of life.

Outside of clinical practice, Stevie enjoys spending time with her wife, Dana, their 3 children, and fur babies. She can be found traveling to Europe or exploring the great outdoors.

Clinic Manager

Alley is the Clinic Manager at Thrive Chiropractic, where she has been a dedicated team member since 2014. Born in Portland, Oregon, she moved to Boise, Idaho, at a young age. Alley’s journey in the chiropractic field began when she became a Chiropractic Assistant in 2014 and worked her way up to her current position as Clinic Manager.

Her passion for holistic medicine was sparked by a personal experience with her son, who was hospitalized for almost the first year of his life with undiagnosed health issues. Turning to a Naturopathic Doctor brought significant improvements for her son after just one visit, leading Alley to leave her corporate job and pursue a career in holistic healthcare. Since then, she has found immense satisfaction in helping patients transition from living in pain to achieving a pain-free life.

Alley believes deeply in the power of holistic medicine and the body’s ability to heal itself through corrective care, without relying on drugs and medication. Working at Thrive Chiropractic has allowed her to meet incredible people and share both her own chiropractic journey and those of her patients.

Outside of work, Alley is devoted to her husband Troy and their three children, Ashton, Elyssa, and Spencer. Her family is her greatest inspiration and passion. Together, they enjoy various outdoor activities, including hiking, swimming, and camping. In her personal time, Alley loves reading, watching movies, and gardening.

Jennifer

Billing Manager

Jennifer is the Certified Billing Manager at Thrive Chiropractic, brings a rich background in alternative medicine and a deep commitment to holistic health. Born and raised in Boise, Jennifer graduated from Boise High in 1996 with an initial goal of pursuing a nursing career. During a gap year, she attended massage school, believing it would complement her nursing aspirations. However, her career path took a different turn when she discovered her passion for being a Birth Doula. For 13 years, she attended births as a CD(DONA) and continues to practice massage therapy part-time as a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT).

Eleven years ago, Jennifer transitioned into the chiropractic field when she agreed to manage the office of a friend’s husband who was starting his own practice. This opportunity was a natural fit for Jennifer, who had been immersed in the alternative medicine field for decades. Through her work, she developed a strong belief in addressing the root causes of ailments to achieve true and lasting health. When her friend retired, Jennifer joined Thrive Chiropractic, where she instantly felt at home. She is especially proud to be part of a female-owned and operated practice that aligns with her values and passion for holistic health.

Jennifer’s dedication to chiropractic care is fueled by her lifelong interest in understanding the complexities of the human body. She finds fulfillment in supporting an industry that resonates with her personal beliefs and complements her passion for bodywork.

Outside of her professional life, Jennifer is a proud mother to three children, three bonus kiddos, and three grandchildren. She enjoys a variety of activities in her downtime, including reading, hiking, traveling, and listening to live music. Jennifer values meaningful connections and loves engaging in deep, soulful conversations with good people. These connections are at the heart of everything she does, both personally and professionally.

Kendra

Front Desk

Kendra Eden, a dedicated Chiropractic Assistant at Thrive Chiropractic, moved to Boise in 2012 from Tacoma, Washington with her family. Her parents believed Boise would be an ideal place to raise children, and it has since become home. Before joining the chiropractic field, Kendra spent much of her career in child care. However, after having a child of her own, she decided it was time for a change. Her passion for helping others led her to chiropractic care, where she now enjoys supporting patients in feeling their best.

Kendra first discovered she was in the right profession when she immediately felt at ease during her training at Thrive Chiropractic. Having been a patient at the clinic prior to joining the team, she had already built meaningful relationships with the staff, making her transition to the role seamless and rewarding.

Outside of work, Kendra enjoys spending quality time with her growing family. She and her husband recently welcomed a baby boy in May of 2024. In her spare time, Kendra expresses her creativity by making custom emblems, tokens, and shirts using a variety of artistic tools. She brings the same care and passion to her personal projects as she does to her work at Thrive.

Alexa

Chiropractic Assistant

Alexa is driven by the desire to improve others’ well-being, which is why she moved to Boise in August of 2019 to pursue her bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. After graduating in May of 2023, Alexa chose to work in a chiropractic setting to leverage her skills and knowledge effectively.
Inspired by a passion for helping people, Alexa finds immense satisfaction in her daily work. She takes pride in knowing that her efforts contribute to patients leading pain-free lives.

Mikel

Chiropractic Assistant

Mikel is a dedicated Chiropractic Assistant at Thrive Chiropractic, brings a wealth of experience and a passion for patient care to her role. Originally from Arizona, Mikel moved to Idaho in 2012 to be closer to her family. This move marked the beginning of a new chapter in her life, one that would eventually lead her to the vibrant and fulfilling field of chiropractic care.

Athena

Chiropractic Assistant

Athena began her career in the chiropractic field in 2021 and quickly fell in love with it. Having grown up without chiropractic care, she realized how essential it is for maintaining a healthy body. This realization fueled her dedication to the profession and her commitment to educating others about the benefits of chiropractic care.
She recently graduated from Boise State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Health Science, combining her academic knowledge with nearly four years of hands-on experience in the chiropractic field.
Athena’s blend of academic excellence and practical experience makes her an invaluable member of the Thrive Chiropractic team. She is passionate about her work and takes great pride in guiding patients on their journey to better health.

Isabel

Chiropractic Assistant

Isabel joined Thrive Chiropractic as a Chiropractic Assistant in Boise after graduating with a degree in Public Health from Boise State University in 2024, where she specialized in health education and promotion. Originally moving to Boise for her studies, Isabel has now found a second home at Thrive Chiropractic. While she’s gearing up to pursue diagnostic medical sonography, her current role allows her to gain valuable patient care experience and learn more about the transformative impact of chiropractic care.

Hannah

Chiropractic Assistant

Hannah is a dedicated Chiropractic Assistant at Thrive Chiropractic, where she has been part of the team since October 2022. Born and raised in Boise, Hannah holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and has a deep-rooted connection to the practice as a former patient of Dr. Young’s for four years. Her experience as a patient inspired her to join the team, motivated by the welcoming atmosphere and the positive impact chiropractic care has on patients’ lives.

Outside of work, Hannah cherishes time with her family, which includes her parents, sister, and her beloved pets—a dog named Sami and a cat named Gus. She also enjoys reading and traveling, always eager to explore new places and ideas.

Massage Therapist

Tish is a highly experienced Massage Therapist at Thrive Chiropractic, has been a resident of Boise since 1993. Growing up in Idaho, Tish initially pursued a master’s degree before discovering her true calling in massage therapy. She has dedicated her career to helping individuals find relief from pain and sore muscles while also facilitating deep relaxation.

As she approaches her retirement at the end of 2024, she looks forward to traveling, hiking, camping, and kayaking with even more enthusiasm.
